Garrett has had a very rough night. He is in a lot of pain and without his usually joyful spirit. The pain meds just don't seem to be giving him much relief. But functionally he is doing great, the palate repair and circumcision look as great as can be and the doctors are pleased with their progress. He is drinking, eating and using the restroom but none without lots of tears.
Last night he had a few episodes of losing blood clots and lots of blood. It was very tramatic for him and he did his best to be as brave as possible. From the looks of his mouth stitches, they think there will be no more of these episodes.
Happily he does not seem to even notice anything about his hernia incision or his ears.
