He's Doing As Well As Can Be Expected

We are in a room. (floor 10, room 8) and Garrett is resting off an on. He has already had some juice and yogurt which is a very good sign. He says "ouch" with every bite and holds his mouth which somehow automatically makes him say ouch again and look at his little guy (to which he looks at me and cries). But mommy is pleased with the circumcision even if Garrett is a little ticked about it.

David has gone home to get some sleep for the next shift and take care of the little four legged family members at home. Aley and I are taking this first shift. It will not result in much sleep as he seems to be waking up every 30 minutes or so. But overall he is doing great.

In case you did not catch it below. Surgery started 90 minutes late. 10 minutes in they decided he needed a fourth procedure - repair of a hernia on his left side right above his groin area.

And in the last 10 minutes they decided he needed one last procedure - extraction of part of a toothpick from his left ear!!!!!! This was done right before they inserted the tubes.

The plastic surgeon said his palate repair went very well............ Thank God :-)

What a great big sister.
