This year David planned a local trip. A night at the Chase Park Plaza overlooking Forest Park. The hotel is absolutely beautiful! And the resturant was fabulous!! Plus there is the coolest movie theatre in the hotel. We saw "State of Play" - very good movie!The plan for Sunday morning was to attend mass at the Basilica and then have a picnic lunch at our "spot" (a corner lake space in Forest Park that we used to have lunch at every Friday when we were dating and both working at AGEdwards).
Unfortunately I woke with a fever. And we had an early wake fire alarm (A local highschool had their prom at the Chase last night and we suspect a few of them may have still been there!!!)
But all in all it was a wonderful and very special night!
