Wow!!!! 8 Months since this little guy has captured our hearts!This month has brought so much finalization for all of us. We had thought that bonding went exceptionally well but all the "experts" say we won't see all the "signs" for a full year!
The last and final sign we have been waiting for --- all he said (one hundred times over) on the way home from our last trip --- "I want to go home". Not because he did not have the time of his life playing on our trip. But because as fun as it was, he knows the comforts of home.
No matter where Garrett goes now, he knows where home is, who his family is and EXACTLY where he belongs. There is no hesitation in this little guys head that he loves his family and prefers them above anyone and everything else.
Garrett is so confident that he will never be alone again and that God has given him a family that will be with him forever.
