It took me a few minutes to understand the tears when I put Garretts shoes on... He knew he was going to his first hockey game with Daddy. He knew he was wearing his special Blues outfit. So why the tears? He knew that hockey players don't wear tennis shoes. He thought he was going to be on the ice!!!! But after all of that - he loved every minute of it :-)
