My Hero

Here is Aley during basketball tryouts. She was cut today but we are so incredibly proud of her for trying. She has only played 3 seasons of CYC basketball in her life but decided that it would be fun to try out and at worse she would have a great work out week! What a true athlete. She loves every sport and is just happy to be playing even if she is not the best out there. And how brave! She was the only kid to try out that did not play on the freshman basketball team last year. Four of the girls quit within the first two days because of the intensity of the tryouts from the new coach. But Aley just kept on going :-) The girls on the team liked Aley so well, they have asked her to stay on and help manage the stats so that she can travel to the games with them. My Hero.
