So the plan for the glorious holiday weekend:Friday - Happy hour with friends and purchase all necessary supplies to install deck railings.
Saturday - Install deck railings. Meet friends at the Landing for the blues band festival
Sunday - church, finish railings, relax
Monday - Take Garrett to the arch and go to a friends bbq
What actually happened.........
Rain. Realized half our parts were missing from the railing company.
Saturday - more rain. Spent the morning picking up remaining supplies. More rain. Monica was beyond cranky -- not sure why at first -- a fever, a few fainting spells, and lots of unplanned naps -- Monica is officially knocked out with a sinus infection!
Sunday -- Barely got up 1/4 of the railings. Everyone tried to make it better - cupcakes and help from Mom & Dad!!!
Monday --- Took down most of the railings..... long story....... started again. Only 1/2 the railings are up :-( Monica is really sick :-( We need another holiday!!!!!
