Last week Garrett had his first soccer practice. We opted to keep him in the YMCA preschool program (like his Tball). So the kids are 4-5 years old instead of all 5 year old kindegarteners. We have worked real hard to keep his kindegarten transition to a minimum (so no afterschool care, no afterschool activites, ect) so this was the best choice. After all he can play kindegarten soccer next year :-) Plus we were able to be on the same team as our neighbor Sam. He is such a great kid and we love handing out with his parents so it is a perfect match!
