On all accounts Garrett is doing really well with his speech therapy. Picture a 1 year old and that is about where he is at now with make clear sounds - a,e,i,o,u,m,p,b,n. As far as sentence structure goes he is right on target - you can usually make out the syllables and tell what he means. For instance - "Aley ate my cookie and drank my lemonade" sounds more like "A-e a my oo-ie an ank my emona". You can also tell that he is using proper tense in most instances.
Garrett had a followup with the Palatte team at Childrens hospital. There is a small leak. For the moment we will keep our prayers that it closes on its own.
If it does not, it is another surgery :-( I can not hear the air escape but maybe you all can!
